Perincian deskriptif terbahagi kepada 3 tahap:

1-First level

2- Second level

Title proper [GMD] = Parallel title : other title information / first statement of responsibility ; each subsequent statement of responsibility. – Edition statement. – Materials (or type of publication) specific details. – First place of publication : first publisher, etc., date of publication, etc. – Extent of item : other physical details ; dimensions. – (Title proper of series) – Note(s). – Standard number.

 

3- Third Level

Includes all elements set out in the AACR2 rules that are applicable to the item being described. Large libraries in Malaysia agreed to use the 2nd level. School libraries - 1st Level

 

 

REFLEKSI MINGGU PERTAMA

Pertama kali masuk ke kelas MPT1173

Kursus ini mendedahkan saya kepada pengurusan data dan maklumat bahan sumber pendidikan dengan menggunakan sistem pengkelasan Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) dan peraturan AACR2 (Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules). Antara topik yang akan dibincangkan adalah pembangunan pengkalan data yang berkaitan pengurusan sumber di pusat sumber. Kursus ini memberi pendedahan kepada pelajar dari segi aspek pengurusan bahan dan maklumat dari perspektif sistem data dan maklumat dengan menggunakan sistem Kod DDC dan peraturan AACR2 .Antara topik ialah pengenalan sistem pengkalan data,applikasi sistem dan peraturan kod tertentu dalam pengurusan penyimpanan dan “retrieval” sumber.
